Bio for Ryan Black

Ryan is techno-creative with skills going beyond composition and engineering into college level instruction and administration.  Currently Ryan is the Director of the Media Schools for the Illinois Institute Art.  As part of a team in both high-level idea generation and in executing once decisions have been made, Ryan is known for being able to work well with teams to get projects and responsibilities executed.

 

With credits on numerous albums as an engineer, song writer and artist Ryan works with orchestras, chamber groups and artists in and around the Chicago-land area.  Recent production work include The Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Kallima Woodwind Quintet, Grant Park Symphony, The Prairie Brass Band, Second Time Around, TEE, The Cleft Way, Naz and live sound for many acts including SHEL, Terrence Wilson, Olga Kern, Julie Albers, Desmond Hoebig, Alexandra Soumm, and Marie-Nicole Lemieux.
